Due to ongoing construction at BHS, we are currently unsure where practices will be held this year. We are meeting with the Athletic Director to review our options and determine the best location.
As soon as a decision has been made, we will share the details with you right away. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this.
Flag football is for boys and girls entering kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade. Practices begin in August and games are generally held on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Practices are held during the week and occasionally on Saturday pending coach availability. The season runs into October. Games are played against other town teams with home games located on the Brighton High School turf field.
Flag players need to come dressed in athletic attire and be prepared with a water bottle (labeled with the player's name). Cleats are highly recommended. Mouth guards are required. All flag participants will receive game jerseys that they will get to keep.
Refund Policy:
1. All refunds must be made in email to the president.
2. Any participant who withdraws prior to July 1st shall receive a full refund of all registration fees paid, minus a $25.00 administration fee.
3. Any participant who withdraws on or before August 7th for A-C Teams or August 14th for Flag Teams will receive a refund of all registration fees paid, minus a $50.00 administration fee to help cover incurred costs.
4. Any participant who withdraws after August 7th for A-C Teams or August 14th for Flag Teams will NOT be eligible for a refund of any registration fees.
5. In the rare event that an injury occurs during the BJB season, and the child can no longer participate, the Board may provide a discretionary refund, minus any costs incurred.
